Rue
Rue came into my life unexpectedly, as cats tend to do, with her brother and her being last-minute fosters thrust onto us. She is a Scottish straight cross, named after the common rue plant for her yellow eyes. An angelic first cat, she is contemplative yet cheeky, and ever patient with our younger cat Clem. While valuing her independence, she doesn't shy from donating a nuzzle or simply loafing beside you. Her natural overbite lends to many a tongue blep, and that always makes us laugh! Her birthday is March 21st 2022.
Clementine
The archetypical crazy ginger cat, Clementine and her littermates were brought into our clinic at a few weeks old after being found underneath a school. Nursing her back to health through her cat flu, it became clear she had bonded to me (and I her). When her two siblings were adopted, we ended up taking her home on the 14th December 2022. Clem adores people, dried capelins, dark small spaces (like the inside of your jumper) and sleeping in positions you'd think are anatomically impossible.
